Ncl Escape: The Norwegian Escape breathe one of the fleet’s most innovative ships. It also offers over 25 different dining experiences. Splash down into the pool with a acquaintance at your side — this ship sports the newest tandem waterslide at sea.
The Norwegian Escape offers an amazing variety of lounges, bars, and coffee shops. Get wowed by sunsets on The Waterfront, the oceanfront mall. If you like Jimmy Buffett, visit Margaritaville at Sea and the 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar. Go wine tasting at The Cellars or indulge in food from a real Iron Chef at Bayamo.
Feel like a show? The Norwegian Disappearance is brimming with entertainment, like The Supper Club. Laugh the night away at Headliners Humor Club or catch the Tony Award-winning musical, After Midnight. There’s also For the Record: The Brat Pack, and Wine Lovers, The Musical.
Ncl Escape Deck Plan
There’s nothing ingenious about Norwegian Escape, which you’ll notice before you even board the cruise ship. The hull art, fashioned by artist and conservationist Guy Harvey, is a bold yet beautiful, in-your-face marine wildlife scene that spans more than 1,000 feet from bow to stern. Once onboard, you’ll be gratified by the glitzy three-level 678 Ocean Place; essentially all the action at night takes place at its various coffee shops and bars. Even the top decks of the ship are bold, with a ropes course and four drink slides that are sure to make your heart race.
Passengers: 4,266 Best for: Families, stimulation-craving persons, and anyone who likes a big ship with lots of action
Sails: Bermuda, The Caribbean, New England and Canada
At a Glance: The biggest ship in the line’s fleet, the 164,600-ton Norwegian Escape packs so many coffee shops, activities, and bars onto its decks, it’s almost impossible to try them all in one trip.
Ncl Escape Reviews
Escape is ideal for communities looking for stellar theater entertainment and variety. Broadway-quality appearances, in the form of two shows (“After Midnight” and “For the Record: The Brat Pack”), are pitch perfect. The music and aerosaltants are flawless and among the best we’ve seen at sea.
When it comes to variety of movements, Escape is a winner. With 28 bars and restaurants onboard, most people will have to sail twice to try out everything. Everyone will be able to find object that appeals. Latin food? Check. An incredible brew pub that feels so genuine you’ll forget you’re on a ship? It’s got that, too. An indoor-outdoor dining conception, called The Waterfront, which allows customers to dine seaside? It’s there. A first-at-sea Margaritaville? Yep.
With so much passing on, the ship can — and does — get loud. Loud music, loud people, loud venues. Crowds, too, are noticeable, especially at peak periods around banquet and at show times, when everyone is hollering for the same things at the same time.
At full space, the ship can hold 5,218 customers, most of whom are from the United States. You’ll find yourself sharing the ship principally with couples and groups of friends, with households and little ones dominant during the holidays and summer breaks.
While Escape teaches a “freestyle” cruise experience, reservations are highly recommended and help reduce wait times, though expect lines to be part of the Norwegian Escape experience no matter what.

Norwegian Cruise Line instituted its largest cruise ship, the 4,268-passenger Norwegian Escape in October 2015. This 164,00 ton, 20-deck cruise ship is filled with fun movements, entertainment, and dining and drinking installations. It’s a great ship for families and younger cruisers, although active seniors should enjoy it, too.

The Norwegian Escape sails from her home port of Miami year-round on 6- to 14-day cruises to the Bahamas and the eastern and/or western Caribbean. Sailing to these warm weather destinations fits perfectly with her large amount of outdoor activity space, outdoor dining venues, and outdoor bars.

Chef Garces’ other restaurant is the casual Pincho Tapas Bar, where patrons sit at the bar and watch their tapas being prepared.
The third exciting new restaurant on the Norwegian Escape is the Food Republic, an upscale food emporium from the Pubbelly Restaurant Group. The Food Republic features small plates from around the world, perfect for sharing or sampling an around the world menu.
